Bond Check Requirements

CYLA is a volunteer-driven organization, and your support is essential to keeping our programs running smoothly. Below is an overview of the bond check requirements and volunteer expectations for the 2026 Spring Season.

Spring Fling Tournament – Primary Volunteer Requirement

Our Girls Lacrosse Annual Spring Fling Tournament will take place on April 25th and 26th at the OJR High School fields. During this event, we ask all CYLA parents to volunteer for at least one time slot to fulfill your bond check obligation.
Both Girls and Boys families are required to participate.

Please mark your calendars. A SignUpGenius with specific volunteer opportunities will be shared in the coming weeks.

Additional Volunteer Opportunities

If you are unable to volunteer during the Spring Fling Tournament—or would like to complete your requirement earlier—additional opportunities will be available throughout the season. These can also be used to satisfy your bond check commitment.

Examples include:

  • Lining fields

  • Distributing or picking up goals

  • Serving as a team parent

  • Handling spirit wear distribution

  • Other team or field support roles as needed

Bond Check Details

Boys Program:
Players enrolled in the Boys program must submit a $100 bond check to secure their volunteer requirement.
Coaches (head and assistant) do not need to submit a bond check.

Girls Program:
Players enrolled in the Girls program must also submit a $100 bond check to secure their volunteer requirement.
Coaches (head and assistant) do not need to submit a bond check.

Family Cap:
If you have more than one player, we request a $150 bond check per family.

Payment Options:
If you do not use personal checks, we will accept a cashier’s check, money order, cash, or Venmo. All bond payments will be returned at the conclusion of your completed volunteer requirement.
